Key Facts
The Lamicall Adjustable at $13 wins overall because it nails the fundamentals: an aluminum body that holds a phone at any angle from flat to upright, silicone padding that protects the case, and a weighted base that stays put when you tap the screen. At this price there is no reason to buy a flimsier stand for desk use.
The Anker Wireless Stand at $29 combines the stand with a 10W Qi charger, which eliminates a cable from your desk entirely. It props the phone at a fixed 60-degree angle — ideal for glancing at notifications during video calls. The Nulaxy A4 at $19 takes the adjustable category with a fully articulating joint that folds completely flat for travel and extends tall enough to hold a phone above a laptop keyboard for dual-screen work.
The OMOTON Mini at $9 is the honest budget option: a small aluminum cradle that supports a phone in landscape for video playback. It lacks adjustability but does the single job well. The UGREEN Tablet Stand at $25 handles the full range from phone to 12.9-inch iPad, with a reinforced hinge that holds heavier devices without slipping.
Consider what the stand is actually for. If it holds a phone for video calls, adjustability matters because camera height varies with seating. If it is a notification display beside your monitor, a fixed-angle charging stand is cleaner and removes the daily plug-in ritual. If you use your phone as a second screen for reading documents, the Nulaxy's laptop-adjacent positioning is the most practical. Weight matters more than it seems: a stand lighter than your phone tips when you tap the screen, which is why the $9 plastic options frustrate and the weighted aluminum ones do not.
